First Third: The vintage smoke opens with an exceptionally smooth and rounded presentation. The initial draws cover the palate in silky cedar timber, sweet baking pastry, and a fragrant, damp earthiness. The retrohale is completely mellow, carrying zero sharp pepper and only a faint hint of vanilla bean.
Second Third: Moving into the core of the aged barrel, the profile turns noticeably more buttery. Dominant characteristics of roasted cashews, light coffee cream, and a highly refined vintage leather emerge. The extended aging has completely stripped away any youthful bitterness, leaving a pure, clean mouthfeel.
Final Third: The conclusion scales up slightly in focus while staying firmly within a comfortable, light-to-medium presence. Layers of dry oak wood, dark baker's cocoa powder, and a closing wave of warming baking spice (nutmeg and cinnamon) harmonize flawlessly, finishing long, crisp, and beautifully aromatic.
